Early Set Up
We arrive approximately 3 hours before the start time to ensure
we are ready before your guests arrive. We are meticulous
about our sound and stage appearance. We will not disturb
any announcements, speeches and most of all, dinner. There
will be a live microphone on stage at all times for any special
requests.
Continuous Music
By arriving early for a picture perfect set up, we will provide
non stop music by playing CDs during the cocktail hour, dinner
and our two breaks. We have a wide variety of musical CDs
to satisfy any style of music that you would like to hear.
Our goal is to create a soothing atmosphere when your guests
arrive, a relaxing atmosphere through the course of dinner
and to keep the Dance Floor filled at all times during our
two fifteen minute breaks.

Equipment
Our sound system is the finest, most current technology available.
We use the right amount of equipment for each individual event.
We specialize in giving our clients a rich a professional
sound.
Lighting System
We travel with our own self-contained lighting system. We
provide lights on both sides of the stage, lights on the drum
kit, and dance lights that pulsate to the beat of music.
Professional Appearance
All members of PARK AVENUE will be in professional apparel.
The men wear black tuxedos with a variety of cummerbunds to
match the decor of the event. The females wear designer wear.
Together we create a high style of profile. Matching casual
wear is available. Our overall appearance is enhanced by Musical
stage fronts with our name PARK AVENUE on them.
Variety of Music
We perform what our clients want to hear. The band plays all
styles of music which includes Pop, Rock, R&B, Big Band,
Contemporary Dance Mix and Country. We are extremely versatile.
Our goal is to reach out to all ages to achieve a stellar
performance. We feel with this approach we can be a wonderful
success to each and every event.
Musicians
All the musicians in the band are true professionals in the
art of music. They give outstanding performances with a high
energy level and tremendous talent to captivate each and every
event. They are professionally educated and many of them are
private instructors at schools and universities. They are
dedicated and confident to make your event a success with
their impressive achievements to their credit.
Five Piece Horn
Section
We have a variety of full professional musical arrangements
featuring our Five Horn Players. They play a wide variety
of brass and woodwind instruments which includes trumpet,
trombone tenor sax, alto sax, flute and clarinet. Together
their talent and enthusiasm combine to make up one of the
hottest horn sections in Chicago. All our horn charts are
written by our trombonist – Mr. Chuck Sloka.
Female Vocalist
Our lead female vocalist is Kim Frost. Taught and mentored
by the great soprano Amanda Halgrimson, Kim found herself
immersed in opera and classical repertoire and was accepted
to Indiana Unniversity as a vocal performance major. However
after developing a love for jazz and rhythm and blues her
musical aspirations took a different turn and she was accepted
to Berklee College of Music on a jazz master scholarship as
well as the Cleo Laine scholarship for up and becoming vocalist.
Upon moving back to the Chicago area, Kim found herself on
two of the major entertainment destinations. The Spirit Of
Chicago and Odyssey Cruises. She recently had the honor of
closing the year long Chicago Symphony Orchestra-CABARET NIGHTS-
series along with Bobbi Wilsyn with their tribute to Johnny
Mercer. She is also a popular private vocal instructor in
Oak Park and Naperville, Illinois. Kim is a highly recommended
singer for original projects and commercial spots. Ike Cole,
brother of Nat King Cole once said of Kim Frost, "She
has amazed me with her talent to sing. She has the innate
ability to understand feel and interpretation. She will touch
your life and that is exactly what she does every time she
walks on to a stage and steps in front of a microphone."
